LAS VEGAS TRAFFIC SHORTCUTS

CROSSING THE STRIP (whenever possible use the Desert Inn Super Arterial!)

NEVER cross the Strip at Spring Mountain or Sahara

If you do, you’ll end up adding at least 20 minutes to your drive

INSTEAD – CROSS at Charleston to the North or Tropicana to the South

SAHARA HOTEL to THE LUXOR
WEST on Sahara Avenue

SOUTH on I-15

EXIT Tropicana East

TURN SOUTH onto the Strip

PARK at the Luxor

THE LUXOR to THE RIO
WEST on Tropicana Avenue

RIGHT on Industrial

LEFT on Rio Blvd

CONTINUE on Rio Blvd until you get to THE RIO

….FRANK SINATRA DRIVE…
FSD connects major resorts via their parking lots from Mandalay Bay to Caesar’s Palace. It’s a nice alternative to Las Vegas Blvd, especially during rush hour.

WARNING: The only way off FSD once you’re on it (not including hotel parking garages) is via Russell to the south, and Industrial to the north.

FSD passes the Tropicana, Harmon and Flamingo, but doesn’t provide direct access to any of them.

….DEAN MARTIN DRIVE…(formerly called Industrial Road)
DMD runs parallel to the Strip and I-15 for a good length, connecting the southern edge of the valley with downtown Las Vegas. DMD is sometimes crowded during rush hour, but it can still connect you quickly to locations like the Las Vegas outlet Center, the Fashion Mall, Circus Circus Adventuredome and the Crazy Horse.

LAS VEGAS to ARIZONA
Instead of taking the traditional way (US-93 through the Dam)..head

SOUTH on US-95 before hitting Boulder City.

That way you’ll have access to I-40 or I-10 for EAST-WEST travel.
